We should set up trials in the summer weeks of under 17/18/19 players released by other clubs academies and give them the chance to earn a contract, Lots of players released by premier and championship clubs go on to have a good career and a lot of clubs scout them, This way they would come to us at little expense and we might find that gem for the future

The PFA run, or have in the past, days like that where every team is invited to go.

Gives the players chance to perform in front of everyone at one time rather than visiting 20 clubs

When I think of some of the crushes there used to be in the sixties and seventies I am surprised there weren’t more tragedies it was frightening at times

Do they have such a thing as a discount family upgrade for a season long suite upgrade @trevor@trevor? We always sit with the grandchildren and my son and daughter-in-law, so we might get objections if we move into the warmth:)

Think it is £125 per adult and £65 for children, Its a good place to relax before and after games, You can keep your seats if you wish, I have a great seat in the lower Sunwin so sit there for the game rather than give it up to a seat upstairs

I think your memory is failing you mate, Bradford City in the 60s/70s was mostly a bleak era you could pick the spot you wanted to stand week in week out, the Bradford End was as bad as it got with games against the like Spurs and Southampton in the FA Cup.

Don't know if its change this season but they always charged me what ever the full going rate was for my grandson, with him now being at collage and classed as a student this season has cost granddad £150 for his season ticket and £125 for the suite upgrade, ya cant take it with you can you, it's money to a good cause ;)

There is a junior rate but not sure what age it changes to full price. The pricing has always been random for up there depending on who you deal with at the ticket office. My dad isn’t looking forward to when the 25yr deal ends and he has all of us to pay for as well as the upgrades. ;)

Quite right Storck. Exit Trials as they are called have been held at VP several times in recent years, not sure about last year due to pitch work but certainly an annual feature for some five years before that.

We do not have an alcohol license in the TL Dallas stand - there is no cost-effective way of restricting the view of the pitch (an EFL requirement) so we would not be granted one.

Away fans feedback is loud and clear that part of the away day experience includes the consumption of alcohol (for a large proportion) so moving would lower commercial income from alcohol sales.

The TL Dallas Stand is ideal for when we have large groups of community or family groups due to the no alcohol rule but it costs us £800 to steward the area so while the actual crowds are smaller it is not viable to spend this money when the number of community tickets can easily be accommodated in the upper north-west - not costing us any extra in stewarding.

We choose not to assign the TL Dallas permanently to home supporters for season tickets because EFL regulations state that 10% of capacity must be available to away supporters.

Seemed a bit pointless opening it today. Surely it would have made more sense to move the barrier up
A few seats to Squeeze those Extra couple of Dozen in

    Two suggestions,
1, Burn the Black unlucky kit and never wear it again, It is a poor colour to pick under lights when it is hard to pick out
2, Convert the away end in to boxes at a reasonable price, It costs a fortune to open and it is very cramped with poor seating and no bar,

Ha ha 2 is a belter ! Whilst your it any chance we can extent the midland road over the road to compensate for the loss of seats due to these boxes .
