Abysmal half. Blackpool looked like scoring every time they go forward

We need some width as said further up. I can’t see us scoring the way it’s going. Too easy to defend against down the middle

No chance of scoring. I think Blackpool will get two more.
No one looks like they even want to try and get a goal. Ball and Doyle up front doing nothing. Payne doing nothing. OB putting a shift in, but ultimately doing nothing.
Butterfield on for me. Needs someone to try and actually do something with the ball. However, I still can't see Doyle putting anything in the net even if it was passed to him on a plate.

Another half of no shots, no width, no tempo, a team that looks resigned to relegation. It really is a depressing state of affairs watching the lack of application and desire in front of me.

Is that the last 3 first halfs were we have failed to register a single shot on target?

To be fair those problems have been there all season. You’d have a better chance of putting a better balanced team on the pitch by picking 11 random blokes from the kop. 2 1/2 games and one shot on goal. Blackpools first effort on goal and they score. Same shit, different day.

Might aswell throw some kids in if we lose this. Can’t do any worse. At least we might get some effort.

So many poor goals? We conceded a dubious penalty against Posh, one against the league leaders and a soft one last weekend. Hardly getting dicked like we have been.
Absolutely no reason to drop Butterfield for Payne just because Bowyer used him ineffectively last weekend

Before that clearly before he started playing him and dropping one of Payne or O’Brien.

We let in 8 across two games against Walsall and Pompey

Is Anderson on the pitch? Not mentioned by Tpulse so far.

I think you’ve misread what I put. Read it again. We were conceding goals for fun so he has looked at that and changed the midfield to give us a bit more protection

Find it easy to go behind and almost an impossibility to count on anyone up front to get us back in it...And then we lose it at the back again.

If we don't/can't up our game second half were finished in league one, nobody making runs off the ball so ineveratably the ball goes square or back, the kid Miller cant get on the bench.

At the risk of creating nothing? We can’t win if we don’t score. Surely that’s the most important aspect?

Butterfield has done more in the first 60seconds than Payne managed in 45mins

Don’t get me wrong I agree with you. But it’s a fine line isn’t it?

I think he wanted some clean sheets and Nick games. Our problem is we continue to concede soft goals so we don’t give ourselves a chance to win it

Peterborugh wasn’t great but we kept it tight and scored when we got the chances in the second half. We have no chance currently as we are always chasing

And it’s academic now. Wtf was that. Shambolic.

Is that banner and flyover still available? If so, can this be organised for the next home game saying “Players Out”?

    As predicted. 2-0.
Totally ran through the centre of midfield, and O'Connor basically invited him to shoot, by just letting him have so much space. Decent finish.
Prior to that, we had the ball around their area, and didn't shoot. Lost the ball, and they score from the break.
What's the point in bringing a midfielder on, when our defence is so awful?
