Poor, Poor Manager Bowyer

As if it his fault!
If your moaning about Payne his failure to score 4 or 5 sitters at Walsall was the final nail in the coffin.

 

I predicted this ! look he might do a good breakfast but there's been no bounce factor since he arrived. Three games in and the audition for League 2 is not good is it ? I didn't ask much of him. Make us harder to beat; make sure we don't get cut further adrift and show us a "Bowyer style" even if it's square pegs in round holes. He's affected very little in fact his choices are restricting us in my view. Let's not kid ourselves any longer this group and this administration are taking us into the abyss. There's dozy Thornton on Pulse clutching at straws and Bowyer on carping on about a penalty at the death we didn't get ? Where the hell were we for the 90mins how many shots on goal ? We shouldn't be relying on last chance benevolence from the Officials for God's sake !? We are already bar the shouting rock bottom and in League 2 ! The supporters have done nothing to deserve such a fate but by bloody hell those players; and management rightly will deserve it !

 

What I do find difficult to understand is Bowyer spoke in his post match interview as if he was happy with a point, now in hindsight it would not have been a bad result, but for the life in me hearing the radio commentary, fellow posters watching the game and saying how poor we were first half I would have though he'd missed a bullet and changed things at half time.
Yet it took him until the 56 minute to make a change Miller for Ball when most who were watching the game were saying Anderson was having a shocker and Butterfield had little influence on the game.
I'm far from happy with the way things seem to be continuing at our club but now we have to concentrate on the home game with Blackpool and believe we can get 3 points.

 

Dropping your best player for Jermaine Anderson, question’s should be asked.

We just dont have the players to get out of this ongoing mess that’s been happening for months and months, regardless of who is in charge.

Bowyer has a decent track record but is not a miracle worker.

We got what we deserved today as we didn’t ask Oxford enough questions, hugely disappointing given what we needed to do.

Ok I personally think he got his team wrong today but you I fail to see how Bowyer can be held responsible for this shower the Edin sewed the seeds of our current position a long time ago by playing championship manager with our club. Equally though some of the players are to blame too far from enough heart shown by many of them!

 

If you watched the two prior games the team was better balanced in those two than any in the rest of the season. Prior to those games we were shipping goals for fun I agree I couldn’t understand Clarke being picked before ob but we don’t see them in training maybe he was in need of a rest.

 

We could have guardiola or even sir Alex, doesn't matter who it is this pile of shite won't change. The players are fecking pathetic and need to shoulder the blame. With any luck theyll feck off and join their buddy rahic at whatever feckwits fall for his shite again

 

@How this is us all over though. All we do is criticise and bring fault on players and managers.

I’m absolutely with you that Bowyer cannot be judged on today, but I’m struggling to support his chosen line up today.

 

He got it badly wrong today but he has my support to get us out of league 2.

I don’t agree with his selection today but calling out a manager after 3 games is ridiculous.

These players have been a disgrace all season.

 

Come on @Captain Grumpy we've seen and been through worse, what else is they to do on a Saturday afternoon, you can't even cut the grass.

Young players in particular need a rest it’s a lot to as a youngster in his first full season in senior football to play every game

 

Complete bollocks. The whole squad is proving to be a quality relegation outfit. Zidane couldn't get this lot playing to win.

 

I've nothing against Bowyer and your right he can't be judged on today alone. But over 11 games that's a quarter of a campaign he surely can be ?. He doesn't even have to perform a miracle and save us ? - even Pep could not do that !. But I go back to three simple things 1 Tighten the back line 2. Shows your game plan ? 3.Don't allow us to be cut adrift further. If he fails those simple tests hes not going to return us to League 1 next year. We need a no nonsense battled hardened campaigner either at League 2 or National League level and players that are masters of "Dark Arts" to kick our way out just as the likes of Luton and Lincoln have done. For God's sake they're higher than us and Accrington Stanley ! ??? Exactly!
