Fans paying more to help the club compete for better players is something that's long over due.

We need to be competitive in transfer market and signing better players and we won't be able to do with £150 peanut season tickets.

the flexi cards are too expensive or the season tickets too cheap.

flexis have a £50 initial outlay - so to get your moneys worth you need to go see 5 games. At which point you have paid £100 for 5 games no different to buying a match day ticket. with season tickets at £150, flexi holders can only get 9 games in before the cards are worthless.

personally think flexis should be £10 one off and £10 per match

 

I’am happy with the pricing even though my concession ticket as gone up. The only issue I have is the facilities in the Bantams Bar very dated and inadequate for the extra cost.

 

Richmond used to do it every season.

one person paying £300 is pointless. He's completely right in what he says. We'll never really improve until we charge more and there is a commitment from the same fan base that like to shout from the roof tops at how big a City fan they are

 

with the announced season ticket prices today, i hope come the next transfer window people are a bit more realistic of the type of player we will be able to attract.

The problem is, the club has put itself in a very difficult position given the way it’s been run over the last 18 months.

I’ve no idea whether it’ll happen, but it needs another round of investment from the owner(s) to build a quality side to re-engage fans, which can THEN allow a price increase.

From the people I speak to, the biggest risk to ST sales isn’t the price point (within reason), it’s apathy due to the poor running and lack of progression/ambition we have as a club. I think most people will pay for quality. 230 quid is a tenner a game - very reasonable and likely still among the cheapest STs in the league. Keep concessions and junior tickets as they are, but the majority need to stumping up or we’re never going to go anywhere.

Cheap prices while the clubs in this financial situation shows Stefan’s going through on his promise to take the 2 million hit personally. Calling it ‘Our City’ really saying something too.

 

Width Of A Post brought up an interesting point re the Flexicards, if you think £150 is too cheap then pay an extra £50 and you can bring someone else occasionally, or not.
I would do this but would like the money to go toward the playing budget.

If many more brought a flexicard as well the attendance figure will be higher(without actual bums on seats every game) to sell to the sponsors.
Talking of which, are northern commercial pulling out and what about mittons?

That's the whole point of it, it's a bridge between a season ticket.

 

I'm one of those who think season tickets should be increased in order for us to have a larger budget. However, I think after the damage Edin has done over the last 18 months, it would've been inappropriate to make that increase for the upcoming season.
