There will always be a percentage of fans who can’t get their act together in time, even if you moved the closing date, they would still be behind the curve. They can either pay full price, or pay for a flexible card. It is not like a surprise, every year in the spring you buy your next years season ticket.

 

Every year in April I start paying me council tax again - doesn't make any easier that I know when it's coming.

 

Yes of course you have to consider whether you can afford a ticket or not, if you can it makes life easier if you save throughout the year. I budget to pay my council tax for 12 months even though I only pay it for 10 months, but I need extra loads of coal at that time of the year, so it all works out

 

Very happy they’ve brought back the flexicards with reserved seats. I’m a uni student living ~4 hours away so being able to have my seat reserved to sit with mates when I’m home is ideal. Chances are I’ll make 9/10 matches a season anyway so the club makes the same money, plus they have the potential for resale on the gate provided it’s the same deal as before where you have to buy 24 hours in advance? This means even more money for the club for people like me who only attend 8/9 matches a season atm

 

I got rejected for a credit card as I don't have any debts I was self unemployed for the last 2 year and because I was self sufficient and didn't need it they didn't provide me with one. She actually advised if I had money problems she'd have handed me one no problem. The mind boggles.

I know it is weird, if you have no debts or credit cards, you will be refused!, madness they view your credit rating on your ability to manage debt lol if you manage your finances without debt you are deemed a risk!!

 

Delighted for you. I'll be reverting back to this as well. Pay-on-gate, transferrable and the club'll end up with more money as well. What's not to like?

 

It cannot be said enough - the fact that the club have maintained affordable season tickets for over a decade now is something we should be immensely proud of. Its incredible value when compared to the 72 other Football League clubs and adds to what makes Bradford City that little bit different to the rest.

A change in circumstances for me means that the Flexicard is great option to have as well.

 

Exactly - chances are a few of my other mates who live closer will be happy to pay £10 to watch when I’m not there. I got a season ticket this season mainly so I could sit in the same seat when I’m home but chances are the club will actually make more money from my flexicard if I attend ~10 games and people I know go to ~5 on my flex

I don't really need one. Just I decided to come out of semi retirement at the age of 27 and work messed up my first wage and left me really short. So it was just to tie me over until the end of the month until my back pay was received. Everything is sorted now so it's not needed haha.
