I'm the first to give refs a bit of grief when they make errors but that's understandable in real time I think.

 

God knows but what good will it do. This type of incident is common place in the lower leagues. Just gutting that come the end of April (and I hope I am wrong!) this could have serious repercussions

 

Clearly you havent seen the incident replayed on social media cos from what I saw it was at least 1ft over the line before JM clawed it back onto his knee (also over the line) and then back in to play.

Lets face it, 6 weeks ago no one would have given us any chance at Sunderland but we’ve matched them today. Buzzing for Saturday now, hope the fans get behind them in big numbers.

Had a chat with square leg umpire defo a goal

 

Seven pages worth of posts and the vast majority saying they thought it was over.

But what’s this about Sky Sports News saying it wasn’t over?

To me the key part is when Johnny Mac’s momentum takes him into the goal, and he knees the ball back into his midriff before edging back out again.

It’s clearly a goal for me, I said it at the time and I didn’t need a reply. Linemen should’ve seen it, that’s his job.

 

Really, I thought the atmosphere was dire for a 46k attendance. Barely hear your lot bar the goal and a few at the end who hadn't pissed off for the exits early

 

Just saw on Twitter that the linesman in question was Mark Dwyer of West Riding FA. How he couldn’t see that is beyond me.

 

I've seen the video. It's over the line obviously but it's by a tiny amount, no where near a foot.
