    What a special team that was. How much of it was luck, I wonder? Right place, right time, right people. Of course, you have to have the right structure in place to take advantage of it, something we don't have anymore.

    Seems much longer than only 3 years ago, feels like a lifetime ago.

    Great night, I hope it raised a tidy sum for MND in Stephen Darby’s name. The current squad sat there and hopefully now understand what it means to be a City player. A difficult night for them to be honest, let’s hooe they take it on board.As you would expect there was more than the odd dig at “he who knows football”.

    Oh and you will be glad to know that Jake Reeves is alive, I saw him there!
