I totally agree he has only come out in the press because of Simon Parker’s comments in the T&A

What comments?

 

Simon has written an article about the state of the club in Thursday edition of The T&A.

 

I don’t think anyone is accusing Jon or Nick of trying it on worth fellow fans. The concern is that the company, as you put it, “the company think they can make an extra buck”. When does it stop? Will they revise their cost again by the time the flight is arranged for?

And I apologise to both @Nick_W_ and @JonButterfield if any of my comments made it sound like I don’t trust them. I totally do.

 

Care to explain why not then? You said you would be happy to contribute but when push comes to shove, you haven’t enough balls to push a fart out.

So please clarify, why are you not prepared to back this?

Not sure there is TBH. I have posted the link multiple times in the T&A comments, tweeted it out and added to a Facebook post.

The only comments I get are from people saying it won’t make a difference and that they aren’t prepared to waste money on it. Sad, but that is how many fans feel.

 

If his statement had been along the lines of “Edin Rahic will not be returning to the club. I have bought his shares and will be appointing a Chairman to run the club”, then people would have sat up.
But his statement gives us nothing new

again, it was IF steve1970 was to have started the crowd funding. he didn’t. i then said i’d consider it, i’m considering.

at this moment in time, is it decided the aim of the flyover - is it simply to raise awareness or is it to try and force a change in approach or even a change in owner? is there a clear and decided message that it will display? where is my money going and what is the breakdown of costs?

all reasonable questions i think you’d agree.

 

@JonButterfield this one wants assurances that we will be 100% successful in our campaign to oust the owners, and then ask the company to give him an individual breakdown of the invoice, including labour costs, plus the last years service and maintenance of the plane, fuel cost over the last year the personnel involved, breakdown of their salaries tax and NH contributions, how much profit they have made over the last three years, think he will be happy with this shortened version, print it off for him, plus a copy of the receipt, just to make sure, we can’t have any doubt can, oh and don’t forget to send him it via registered post. Or failing that I will put an extra tenner in.
