indeed i am. just trying to work out who are the leaders and who are the followers. where / who is city’s bolivar? at the moment it seems like a few are putting their head above the parapet but nobody willing to actually take the lead. maybe it could be you?

 

I am thinking of marching the streets of Woking but not sure what impact this will have?! Despite his massive ego, ER is fortunately not known down these parts!

 

doesn’t take much to set up the just giving page for the flyover fund raising.. all i’m reading are excuses. take the lead.

not trying to bate or wind people up.. simply bored of people saying they’re going to do this or that and not following up their words. surely you are too?

i’ve even offered to donate if @Steve1970 sets the page up, he sarcastically tried having a pop at me earlier when he thought i’d intentionally not replied to him. yet this the third time i’ve made the offer now and i’ve still heard nothing. offer still stands.

Yes you are. Why are you fed up? You are not remotely interested in any protests. That is fine,m by me. I personally think you should back off. Stirring ppls emotions when they are already feeling p’d off is antagonist behaviour.

I am sure when ppl feel ready to protest, ppl will come forward.

Dont really follow that Board Bingley but I do think Brisbane is probably a big kid who is not quite a clever as he thinks he is - he shows a juvenile delight when he has made a point but he comes across as a teenager who thinks he has won an argument when everyone else can see he has just made a bit of a numpty (being polite) of himself

 

so, hold on - let’s take a step back a minute. you’re accusing me of being antagonistic yet i’ve been told i’m a WUM, a bot, on edin’s payroll, work for the club but then that i don’t go to matches at all (which is it?) or that i don’t support city at all. all because i don’t toe the party line of this forum and throw abuse or rumour at the club and for having my own opinion which in some instances may differ from others. so how about you tell other posters to back off like you have me? or does it only matter for those that have differing opinions?

you, personally, have had 2 or 3 digs at me in the past and now you are asking me to respect what other posters are saying. that’s a bit rich isn’t it? in all honesty, this is a forum and personally it doesn’t actually bother me what people think about my posts - but just because someone has a different opinion that doesn’t mean they are wrong or don’t care about the club. people have a choice and a right to support or not support the club in whichever way they seem fit, as long as they don’t overstep the line.

you’re right, i don’t agree with a protest at the moment but i definitely don’t agree with a protest that seems like it’s going to fizzle out after a short time. the fact that there isn’t one person willing to take on the mantel as chief organiser on this board indicates to me that they are plenty of people who will talk a good game but nobody actually wanting to do the graft. there have been people advocating for an no-show and for people to skip matches as a sign of protest, but 24 hours later those same people seen to be saying that actually now they are going to go, or if we get a good cup draw at some point that they can’t see themselves missing out on that one. that doesn’t mean i disagree with a persons right to protest, in whichever way they see fit in accordance with law. but if the protest is going to work and get a message across that people want then it can’t be dipped in and out of when people see fit or when it suits them. what kind of message does that send?

living and working 70 miles away from bradford it actually takes up the majority of my saturday attending matches and dependent on the m62 can be a bit of a trek on evenings. am i going to stop making the journey now during the tough times? no, and that’s my choice. if people don’t want to go, then that’s their choice too.

Good for @JonButterfield to take the reigns, only my opinion but if anyone is leaving a comment do it under your Bantam Talk user name, remember Bradford City have your personal details, would the club try to ban you ?, if stewards are taking videos of fans chanting who knows.
