    So Micky told him that he didn't think he had it anymore....after being player of the year season before and shower of sh**e that was O'Connor and NKP in defence...wow from an ex-player that never ever got anywhere near the heights of Killa… unbelievable Jeff!!

    Just goes to show how clueless Collins was. No mention of a clause, blame laid unequivocally at Collins door. Good luck for the future Killa.

    Personally I think Collins felt threatened by Killa. Such an experienced professional, great career, well liked, etc.

    There's no way that was Collins decision to let him go

    He may have been the mouth piece that told him but he wont have had the clout to make that call alone

    What a lovely bloke Matt. He genuinely didn’t understand why he was let go. Yes I know he left but it was forced on him. He doesn’t have a side to him. He is just a straight forward professional football player, and got on with training to keep himself fit.

    Best of all there is no evidence that it was Collins decision. A few days before he was exalting Kilgallon’s professionlism and was saying he was part of his plans. 4/5 days later he has gone. Now either Collins is a outright liar or he was taking the flak for the Ego.

    My bet is that E.R decided that he wanted Kilgallon off the books and put an idea in Collins head that if he was to tell Kilgallon he wasn’t part of his plans it would come across as Collins stamping his authority.

    ER then decided to put Collins down and play with sooty and sweep, his other puppets, Izzy wizzy let’s get busy

    Cannot believe what I am reading on this thread. Kilgallon never even mentioned it once and yet our fans have it down as Edins decision and cannot have been Collins?

    Edin has no chance. No matter what he does or even if he’s not involved. I get people don’t like him and they have their reasons but we cannot blame everything on him because we don’t agree with it.

    He said he enjoyed it here. Never mentioned the owners once and stated it was Collins who came to him. Every manager has a different opinion. This one was a bad one. But why is Edin the one who has caused it?

    Taking an interview and twisting to every which way to suit a pre determined prerogative is a joke. Laughable. Really is.

    You're kinda right.

    Edin can't really win in this particular instance because even if he wasn't involved in any way, his last action was to sign off on Kilgallon's release - a week before sacking the man who apparently forced him out of the club.

    Lo and behold, the next manager walks in and asks where on earth the leaders are.

    I just wish it was a sketch show, but it's not.
