    Was a bit surprised that lass didn't get through. On the other guy, I've seen those emotional wrecks before. They always say it means so much, they've got more to give but they never end up controlling their performances. On the lads, I thought that Thomas and Armstrong were fairly close, the other 3 were easy to pick.

    Sounds great. Alnwick Castle is fantastic.

    On my way back from seeing Diamond Head. No more than 100 there, but a superb show. Played all the tracks Metallica covered/nicked the riffs from.

    I know what you mean. He has that pub singer aspect to him. Not sure on his versatility - that's what they get caught out on, singing different styles.
