No mate, its all malicious, you know that. Everything at the club is just hunky dory, just a group of people with an evil vendetta against the club. Quite why know one knows, but its all lies. Look at this way a lot of the rubbish spouted on social media is utter bullshit, but don’t dismiss it all. That would be naive at best.

 

When he was told Sheffield was no go he was promised he could leave if he wanted without compensation if we failed to be promoted.
As I say if he had liked what he saw he might have stayed as it was he didn’t and left and the new owners waived compensation. What other reason could there be for not claiming what they could from Bolton

City fans know there is obviously something happening and like you say certain things are cannot be dismissed, the problem with social media is that the more trueful or as close to the truth gets massively shadowed by the utter shite that 'city' fans spout day after day.

Angers me even more when i see us finishing maybe 5 points off the play offs
With investment in Jan and not de stabilizing the club we could easily have finished top two
a massive opportunity missed

 

In fairness, they were willing to spend money in January. Whether they got those deals over the line is a different story.

 

I agree with you, there is foundation to some of what is being said at the moment regarding the club but a lot of it is attention seeking half wits and does no good for anyone involved with the club. Quite why someone would start a rumour that they have clearly made up is baffling.
The club has a lot of stuff to sort out and at the moment is suffering for it. Hopefully some stability behind the scenes will galvanise the backroom staff.

 

I totally agree with you @Bronco but certain posters will still argue that Edin never said that and that we are all wrong.
I can't wait till the bellend opens his mouth again then 6months down the road totally goes in the opposite direction

I'd say under normal circumstances that would be the case, but if its true that he threatened the club with an industrial tribunal things might have been different, were all assuming it is the kit man if it is and there is a NDA in the payoff he's either a silly boy or his legal advisors say it wouldn't stand up in law, but I dont know I'm sure there are fellow posters who could confirm it or other wise.

 

I'd guess this is the main reason Edin isn't saying anything at the moment as it will come back to bite him.

For me the silence is a blessing, see the season out, appoint the manager, address the problems and come out with a statement of what we can and will hope to see regarding the pitch, recruitment and the 18/19 season but please don't mention play offs, a finishing position or a new 2/3/4 year plan!

All their quotes are there for anyone to see, some are happy to go along and not question them which is their choice, @Tawheed making a valid point "they were willing to spend money in January. Whether they got those deals over the line is a different story".
I know this may not go down too well with some but who's to say another month or so with Stuart still at the helm (with players coming back from injury and time to work with the January signings) he would not have stabilised the club and still gone on to make a top 6 spot, things could have hardly gone any worse once he was sacked (and that not a pop at Grayson) the owners took a gamble (they had every right it's their money they have invested) IMO on the hope the new manager would get a reaction we all know unfortunately that did not happen, and it looks like we will fall just short of the play offs, which will make the situation even more frustrating.

 

They have made many mistakes sacking McCall wasn’t one
