A club update wouldn't go a miss.

 

That IMO, much of the quoted managers are beyond our reproach. Names such as Adkins, Allydyce, Lowe, Ince, Woodgate, Cowley, Parkinson et al where/are fantasy thinking.

Look at the players coming in.... DMH, Guthrie, Clarke, Samuel's... Do they in anyway replace the calibre of Doyle or Vaughan?
We've seen all this fantasy stuff before. Stuart in February, Keither Moore.

We are a struggling 4th division team, clearly with prudence a priority. RO has stated it may take 5 years to get out of the Rahic mess. Why, when we have been cautious for the last 18 months, with the input of the McBurnie money, a multi millionaire as an owner, shall we change now?

I get we need to retain our football league status but I firmly believe, even with McCall at the wheel, that this club would have stayed up (just).

 

But why, not do things on the cheap? Despite being bloody awful, a thoroughly average squad, form to be embarrassed about, we still do not sit in the relegation zone. We will get results, this league is in the main, pants.

 

From the list bandied about this week, probably only Hurst is realistic. I still think it will be someone not yet mentioned.

 

I think this is a realistic post. Idle, do you think the manager in waiting may have tendered his trade at a lower level, to where we are now?

I don't believe this 5 year get out of the mess rubbish. If that's the case you don't hire a young novice as your CEO! You just don't! Until I see reasons why it would take 5 years i don't believe it and how the club has been acting its not going to take 5 years.

Hey you drop the seed of 5 years (to recover) from a known source at the club and what happens when you plant seeds?

 

If they can get the team to improve on Tuesday nights performance and get us 3 points you just might be correct.

Drop the famous 5 years to give us time! It's a class trick in business! Everything is 5 years! 5 year plan.

People need to really start thinking for themselves.

 

It will probably end up something totally left field like Gary Jones with Steve Parkin as his assistant , or Jamie Lawrence with Jakes as his.

 

I wouldn’t be so sure of that. On current form we go down with a whimper. Dead last. No more football league. Don’t kid yourself into thinking we will automatically be safe because we are Bradford city. Our form is the worst in the division without wins we don’t get out of this trouble.

 

Don't you knock Reg Hollis. He was the backbone of that great programme. Burnside was my man though.
