Yes compared to us they have had a very good footballing history along with the likes of Burnley, Blackburn, Blackpool etc, hence my disappointment in not selling out.
There are a few Bolton fans saying we didn't get a larger away allocation because of what Bradford City have done at Valley Parade, I was there yesterday and I don't honestly believe an extra 2,000+ would have made any difference to the result, those who were there more than made their voices heard, we went to spoil their tactics and up to a point did it pretty well, yes they hit the post shortly after they'd scored but their goal had an element of luck about it as it sped across the penalty box it certainly wasn't meant for the lad who scored, having said that he took his chance very well. At the end of the day IMO football should be about the fans and I don't think either clubs have covered themselves in glory on their decisions with regards away allocations.

It was so frustrating sat at home and seeing those empty seats in the lower tier. We've pretty much sold one of the home blocks in Midland Road but plenty still left in the final block. Clear scope for both clubs to have upped the away allocation and getting to 2 complete sell outs.

 

Ok Dave thanks , I misunderstood. I thought you were trying to understand , like me , why they didn’t sell out .?

 

Unfortunately we hear the comments from clubs about how us fans are the life blood of the club yet they treat us as fools as we saw yesterday, even more frustrating as you say when you can't attend and see so many empty seats below us.

 

20.7k sold for Bolton - a new record for a play off game. And yeh that includes Bolton tickets @Bigrod

 

Stays at that it will do nothing worse than loads of plastics not having a clue where there going

 

Should have left the midland road last two blocks free until every ticket elsewhere where gone and put them on sale for the Bolton fans when the other three stands where not sold out.

 

So still a couple of thousand available

 

Not now, we don't want them having a noisy following when financially there's very little in it for us. I'd much rather leave the seats empty, just as they did in the first leg.

Surely it's going to sell out now there's something hinging on the game?

Still a few days, I'd be surprised if there were more than just a few seats dotted around here and there?

 

Thursday at 8pm is a terrible kick off time, but you would think we will sell a few more now the game is still there to be won

 

Surely not best view in the stadium and you can erect a camping table in front of your seat for your cup of bovril apparently
