There is now one seat available in the Main Stand whereas it was sold out earlier

25,789 if they'd have given a reasonable amount of ticket.

Mind you, we're just as guilty.

No, and that was my point. Someone else said they gave them out. I was saying surely it is up to you to just wear appropriate clothing if it is going to rain.

To be honest I can not see us selling more tickets now. Anyone that wants them surely will have got them

2-0 and you might be right, but at 1 it’s all to play for
How ever it finishes on Thursday, no one can deny it’s been a good season and one of progress
My only gripe, the January window .
Not one of the loans made the squad in the most important match of the season thus far
6 players that have contributed very little to nothing
    Lessons need to be learnt

I agree it is all to play for but if people were interested and were planning to come because of the 1-0 score line they would have got tickets last night or this morning. We sold some yesterday and I think that will be about it now

There will always be last minute deciders trying to get off a shift etc . We’d travel up ourselves but it would mean getting dogs in kennels ( all full discovered last week ) for an overnight stay up in Yorks. Oh well.

They gave out ‘plastic poncho’s’ when they were redeveloping the Main Stand and there was no roof. I seem to recall celebrating Stan Collymore’s overhead kick against L***s in 2000 (a mere quarter of a century ago) wearing one of those. It was throwing down.

Agree hardly Old Trafford with a capacity of 74,310 where as the Reebok (as it will always be known to me) holds 28,723 this years top attendance being 26,473 against Bradford City on the 22 November 2025, for a supposedly big club they couldn't sell out the first leg of a play off game.

I was watching from seat L100, block D in the Midland Road back then. Fantastic view and plenty of legroom.

Whilst I am surprised they didn’t sell more partly because of our allocation I still think Bolton are a good traditional club. Like one or two in that area

The trouble is the allocation of gate moneies across the play offs Dave. 4 games plus the final income less expenses shared as indicated to me recently by @Dennis@Dennis . Stevenage are the absolute winners in this, why beats me because why should Bolton and City make a big effort to sell more tickets and subsidise a poorly supported club ? Selfish maybe but where is the incentive? If it’s to reward clubs for getting to the play offs then it’s the EFL who should offer prize money not the clubs funding it themselves ?

This is from the Plymouth A forum . Hopefully it’s accurate ?

The four play-off clubs receive 12.5% each of the total gate receipts from the four games, the other 50% goes into the Pool Account and is paid out to the other League One clubs depending on their finishing position.

For the final each club receives 25% of gate receipts and the other 50% goes into the Pool Account.

TV money from all matches is paid to the EFL.

Basically, the competition belongs to the EFL and they distribute the revenue generated from the play-offs to the rest of League One.
