The good news is though that it looks like we've raised £470 for the burns unit so I'll make the donation and post the receipt up when I get chance.

£587.50 was raised for the Bradford burns unit with the help of gift aid.

A massive thank you to the generosity of Queensbury cues for the prize donation and hard work producing the cue and also a massive thank you to everyone who took part.

 

Can I take it that the people that liked it would be interested in buying a number?

We're thinking £10 a number for cue, box case and mini butt, which would create a donation of over £500 to the burns unit if successful.

 

Another quick update from the cue maker;

Just another day or two to dry then a wax and buff and it's finished.

 

Unfortunately it doesn't look like the card will be filled so if a blank number is drawn I suggest we just roll it over until a winning number is drawn.

Is everyone happy with that suggestion?

 

I'll post up the PayPal link and then anyone wanting to bank transfer I'll pm the details.

It'll all be set up by tomorrow morning at the latest, I've just got a bit on at the moment but I posted it today because I'm conscious it's a good few number to shift before the 11th.

Just had word from Queensbury cues that they'll also donate the cost of the case so it's an extra £60 for the charity. Excellent news!
