Lol, this forum sometimes. Calm down people, it's just a thread where someone is throwing ideas around.

The half season tickets would work however if only for covering the second half of the season.
Get them on sale in December for christmas presents etc. if the club were doing well, even knocking them out at £175 for ten games would equate to bums on seats, guaranteed income and a one game saving for the customer (i think)Hulmebantam, Kevin1954, Bigrod and 2 others like this. -

All for Saturday only.
Get plenty of beer on sale, get all the kiosks open to reduce queues and encourage sales.
Keep them open after half time when it could become squeeky bum time and people need a beer.
Get another shipping container outside for Saturday, keep it open after the match if we are successful.
Sell flags outside the ground as we go in.
Sell packets of "calms" as we go in (other brands are available)
Set up a fag stall in the smoking area to calm the nerves (£5 a fag would be reasonable).
Rent out cushions on entry so when we squirm in our seats the pain is lessened.
Add spirits to the alcohol sales (no mixers).
Sell Graham Alexander face masks.
Sell tickets to allow people on the pitch at full time.
Have a raffle at £50 a pop to go on the beer with Andy Cook after the final whistle.
Auction a place in the dressing room after the match.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Rogered Tart, CRASS, vin weasel and 2 others like this. -

Perhaps @wetherbywhaler and @Bradford End who both have connections with the club, could raise the issue! I am sure the Supporters Board will be focusing on the idea of pool tables, rather than issues which many fans would find sensible.Onside, Interested Bystander and Kevin1954 like this. -
Christmas time is a good opportunity. At £150, they would work out at just over £11.50 a game.
It also helps to create a habit, which going to an occasional game doesn’t.
If there are 13 games, then an occasional supporter, buying in advance, would have to go to 8 games for the club to get more income.
If the club also sells other products to the half season fan, then the profit is greater.
Makes commercial sense to me.Onside, Hulmebantam and Interested Bystander like this. -

Last home match of the season is always a decent crowd, out of respect. Get in early folks.

I think the reason we haven't offered half year ST in recent years is simply because our full year ST has been so damn cheap.

I think the club should do half year season tickets.. usually by new year you pretty much know where you will end up in the league so you have a choice to pay for more crap or leave for that season alternatively you renew if the club are really going for it!

Lets say we are doing well and attracting 2 to 3000 paying £20 on the gate, then give them the option of £10 in January.
Form could fall off and we would be ok, money in bank, but money lost if we carry on wining.Ulysses S Grant likes this. -
Grab your season ticket by Saturday 27th April 15:00 and get a 10% off voucher for the club store and be entered into a draw for exclusive access to next seasons shirt launch or free tickets to a pre season game etc?
