The baseball ground !! Flippin heck………

 

I remember at end of the game a load of their fans coming up the stairs into the Midland Road stand as we were trying to get out. I was only a kid and probably most scared I have been at a match. My dad 'accidently' took two of them out with his forearm as they tried to pass us

 

I was there as a child in the main stand and there was a nasty atmosphere. There were large numbers of Man City fans in there and they definitely weren't quiet and inconspicuous

 

I remember drinking with them in the Corn Dolly after the match and they all seemed pretty fine to me. That said, away matches at Maine Road were always a bit scary. Made Liverpool look like paradise.

 

I remember being being in the corn dolly pre match with them and they were absolute knobs
