Interesting view point from our new back of the shirt sponsors...

Have lifted the wording from the X post below for those that don't have an X account

Yesterday’s FA Cup Final at Wembley brought together two of the biggest clubs in world football.

Yet one of the most memorable moments of the day came from @officialbantams.

Ahead of the 2026/27 season, Bradford City AFC unveiled its new home shirt, featuring Mbanq as back-of-shirt partner, in front of 90,000 people at the national stadium.

The reveal featured “Bantam of the Opera,” a supporter choir formed during Bradford’s UK City of Culture year, performing alongside the Band of the Household Cavalry before the FA Cup Final.

It was creative, distinctive and completely true to the club.

That is exactly what drew us to Bradford City in the first place.

“There is a real connection between Bradford City and the community around it,” says Vlad Lounegov, CEO of Mbanq. “You can see it in the supporters, in the culture around the club and in the confidence to do things differently. We are proud to see Mbanq on the shirt as part of the club’s next chapter.”

Football clubs matter because communities care about them across generations. Bradford City understands that better than most.

The FA Cup Final belonged to the teams on the pitch.

Bradford City still made part of the day their own.

Seen a few of the DHgate city shirts this season and they're quite obviously fake.

I got my daughter the new england shirt, i've put it against a real one and it's pretty much the same shirt. In fact you wouldn't be able to tell. Probably same factory.

Some look alright, some look terrible, depends on the factory i bet. There's someone who got a pink one clearly from DHGate or an equivalent who sits not far from me and there was one game this season with a handful or the proper pink tops within touching distance and theirs was electric pink compared to the proper one, but the stitching is usually a good giveaway. That tends to be the easiest way i've noticed, the stitches around logos tend to be really hit and miss on the DH ones.

Some are really bob on, really well done, some are obviously really cheap and you get what you pay for. I totally get the appeal, especially with kids shirts. Sometimes they'll want 2 tops a season, sometimes they'll outgrow and you don't want to spend £50 a pop on something that will last 6 months. If you're a PL fan, you can get cheaper tops with so much ease that are knock offs. Although it looks like one of the things they are trying to crack down on now. I saw on the news a few weeks back that BBC were filming a crackdown on it and ripping into packaging boxes.

I always get my daughter an England one from DH Gate. £20 for custom shirt and shorts. Looks banging too.

The only fake city ones i've seen have been obvious. Not a fan of that.

I've had some bangers from DHgate and some crappers

Also a side note, i know it's end of the season and stock is low but there's no decent stuff for holidays. Wanted a T shirt or a cap etc and there's nothing online or in the shop.

I like replica kits but probably won't buy this home one. Been done before, quite traditional, dont really need it personally but certainly got nothing against it.

Got the pink one this season, had also noticed the electric pink ones and was confused about them. Didn't like the blue one, but ended up with our previous seasons home kit (with the brush stroke effect).

Let's see what the away/3rd offering is. Not white please.

Good to see that the stripes go right round the back. Looks like a proper City shirt at last.
