Bradford End wasn't willing to name Max Power at the start of last season and that's probably because he was considering our offer as we've seen since he signed this summer so I doubt Cole is close or the name wouldn't have been dropped.

 

Dont forget, players like Billy Sharp and McGrloldrick are just far too old for our great club. Legs have gone.

 

Guessing his Everton wages saw to that. He was there until 25 years old or something. I knew a family member of Luke Garbutt. He was on £25k a week there before he left mid 20s.

 

Garbutt had the pick of the PL clubs as a kid, so will have been able to name his price.

 

Crazy times for Everton. McAleny was another. All 3 of them hardly played and just loaned year after year - but stayed until mid 20s. Big money.

 

Yes, Everton beat Arsenal and several others to Garbutt. No wonder he saw out his contract!

 

I wouldn’t see him getting the same space in L1.

Not hinting at anything just what turmoil one of our old adversaries are in.

Notts County’s Jatta is staying at home and training with the so called B team as the full squad is on a preseason trip for a week in Germany .

Nobody got him a Visa ….ooops.

GA hinting he will have to wait until after the Austria trip to find out whether have a chance of landing his top 2 loan targets from Premiership clubs.

GA prepared to be patient as happy with squad numbers as it stands.

Cannot therefore see any incomings today to coincide with kit launch.

 

My thoughts exactly not that I would expect Alexander to give anything away in a press release it would appear two more in and that's your lot.

 

I really hope GA isn’t satisfied with what we’ve got because the midfield as it stands is looking weaker than it did last season. We need proven quality in there, not a couple of untested loan players.

Alexander had a call from a club this week about another player telling him that it was highly unlikely he’d come to us and he had other offers on the table.
We just have to bide our time like every other club trying to bolster their squad but we all know the competition is fierce for quality loan players from teams higher up the pyramid.
