972 is the standard allocation at Northampton.
The South Stand behind the goals which I guess is our 944 allocation.
The 591 family orientated tickets must be in the side stand which was under construction but I believe is now completed.
1,551in total but they should have made that clearer the allocation is spread over two stands

With the points total set at 3,500 and 3,400 it looks like the rolling basis for points isn't happening or it hasn't kicked in.

And so it begins. We’ll wait for the faux outrage when some fans who went to Wigan away in 2013 for a fiver can’t get a ticket.

The games fans will want to get to will pretty much all be accessible. Bolton, Barnsley, Wigan, etc will all give about 5k. Huddersfield will be the difficult one but beyond that I very much doubt there will be trouble getting tickets for most games.

The issue in League 1 was many ground have joke allocations, that's not really the case for the games most will want to attend this season. Many of the smaller allocations are quite a trek anyhow and usually our numbers fall off a cliff when we pass 2 hours from Bradford.

Whilst I agree that during mid season the long distance away games rarely sell out, if we are doing well at the business end of the season then distance won’t matter. If we need a win on last day we’d sell out Exeters whole ground

If the numbers on the ticketing site when you select a ticket are the amount sold then we are up to 855 in the south stand and 108 in the family section so less than 100 left in the south stand and nearly 500 in the family section

As I said, a sneaky way of limiting attendance for the opposition?

If they wanted to limit away teams to just the South Stand behind the goal then they'd do just that like they did when we played them 2 years ago as 944 is nearly 200 more than they have to offer. I suspect it is more to do with crowd control to help with segregation and also part of that stand it is the family area for the home fans

Didn’t they open a new stand since we last played them or am I dreaming?

    edit

No Im not. Hence the increased allocation.

The seating area was open when we played them since then the corporate part has been built and complete.

Image from the winning goal that day with their fans in that stand

Yeah allocation across two stands to circa 1550, though apparently they could be a possibility of more being released should we need it. Am sure they had their biggest crowd for a while at the back end of last season with that stand finally being completed.

Summer hols have possibly dinted demand a bit but surprised they haven't sold out....a big fear with this game being 1hr 15 up the road from me!

Too early to call it a 6 pointer?....

The attendance for that game was over 7,700 so a very limited reduction and they probably won't get much more when you factor in segregation. In March they played Birmingham and the attendance was only 200ish more.
