    No, he’s being paid every four weeks for insurance purposes ( aka an employee on a short term contract). Presumably so he can have a close season and be fit and ready .

    No not really, apparently he's been seen around Brunton Park, however he does live in Carlisle and still knows people at the club, so some people are putting 2 & 2 together. And he was mentioned on our social that he would be 'good to have around the club again'.

    Seriously,he never let us down when he played for us,and apparently Alexander likes him around as he gets on well with the other players,passing on his experience.He could do a really good job for you next season.

    Only the one poor game at Port Vale. The rest of the time we had no idea he was 37.

    He's an absolute class act.

    Last game against Fleetwood 90+6 etc... he was up and down the touch line ecouraging the lads, moaning at the ref, passing on instructions and generally being class.

    Also as others above mention, he never really let us down.

    He had a shocker at Notts County away too. But then again the whole defence did that day.

    But generally he was excellent when called upon. I’m remember one game saving clearance that helped us to 3 valuable points (Accrington at home I think).

    I really like the guy and appreciate having these types of character, experience and skillset in and around the squad. Added to the ability to play when needed, I’ll welcome him signing an extension, provided it financially works for all parties.

    I would anticipate that he will no longer be offered a new deal as we have just signed our sixth centre back.
    Huntington was solid in his cameo appearances. Came over as a grounded character.
    However he will be 38 in a couple of months time. If the squad limitations of over 21’s apply, he may well not be worth a contract for you.
