Love the hypocrisy on here at times.

When someone calls out a bad signing they're hammered for "not waiting to see what they can do in a City shirt". Yet we've no need to wait to actually see them play if it's a good signing?

If he doesn't, then he'll want 6. GA has said he is keen on the rotation of the squad after last season.
He'll want 6 CB's who he thinks can play at the level.

Sold signing this one but I think it’s safe to say we won’t be playing out from the back and will most likely be sitting quite deep most games.

 

Think he’s an excellent signing, however any more defenders need to be younger with pace. Always a good sign when rival fans like Donny are jealous. Think Wright and Tilt will give us the leadership we missed at times last season at the back.

 

Not sure about that. Tilt said in his interview that one of the things that attracted him to the club is that GA wants him to be aggressive and on the front foot.

Agree, how is this a "better" singing than any other? His height? The fact he has a good rep with previous fans? His hair colour? Wouldn't we be better to judge him when actually playing rather than whats on wikipedia.

What is clear is that the club has identified our defence as needing strengthening-hopefully these two signings do just that.

 

Ah but these its clear that you don't know that the new defenders are renowned for covering the near post area (it's on Wiki so it's definitely 100% true) so all in all everything will work out just dandy. No need to fret anymore. GA et al have it covered-literally.

Before we signed Tilt I was negative about the prospect then I saw other people’s comments and his stats. I never say a signing is bad until I have seen them play. More often than not I welcome players without commenting on wether they will be successes or not.

 

Of course if finances and league rules allow I would love more but finances are not limitless and there is a lot of work elsewhere to do
