    That’s a fair point but it’s main benefit is it keeps the division alive until the last day of the league season.

    Never liked them, never will
    Does a team that is closer to relegation deserve to go up at the expense of one that has finished third and 22 points ahead of them
    It’s an injustice played out over 3 games and totally disregards the 46 prior matches
    I accepted they are here to stay and provide an extension to the season and drama, along with a big chunk of cash for the authorities
    I just find them unfair

    The NL play-off system seems better. The higher you finish, the easier run you have to the final, with more home fixtures.

    A team finishing 3rd should get an advantage over a team finishing 6th, as it stands doesn't matter where you finish.
