Well I hope a lot of football fans across the country watched and learned about that terrible day, because it’s awful the amount of mocking people have done on social media about it lately.

I thought the whole programme was good, but I was very moved by Mrs. Greenwood in particular.

It was an education for me, learnt far more about the disaster than I knew. Some harrowing accounts, but it was all done tastefully and respectfully.

I wasnt keen on the photographer. Didnt like his account of that day....his priority seemed to be getting his pics.

Very moving programme has a constant tear in my eye from the contributions but also for the memories it brought back. It’s over half a lifetime ago for me but the images are still ingrained in my memory

Thought similar from his account too, but as the fire safety man said, they needed the media to shoot in the end to help learn and understand, to improve safety and knowledge for years and years after. Those shots as tragic as they are have probably been invaluable to many for safety and training in the years since for the emergency services.

Very moving and excellent documentary, brought back a lot of sad memories but I’m so glad I watched it.

True....those fans carrying an injured fan were right to threaten him though.

What happened to the 2 Lincoln fans, were they in the home end or attemping to save our fans. Im not aware of their story.

Agree with that Park, it was a very good documentary. I was there with my Dad and he quickly ushered me out when it was obvious the scenes would not be good. Must admit I shed a few tears watching that tonight

They were sat in the stand. Can't remember the previous fires at other grounds, shame that these didn't lead to recommendations.

Different times back then, but piles of rubbish under a wooden stand could have been avoided. A tragedy.

Oh 100%, at that stage he's clearly doing it for the front page.

Not sure on the Lincoln fans either, not familiar with the stories. It is just one of those events even for people like me who weren't even born then, we all just dont really talk about it do we? Only bits I know of the tragedy are bits I've read up or watched or from my dad.

That day was the only Bradford City game my dad went to. He isn't a footy fan, but the rugby club he played for won the league and the team bought all the players tickets to the final game to watch the trophy celebrations. Until Millwall in the PO final a few years back, that was his only experience of Bradford City in person.

Very tough watch but glad I did. Brought back memories but left me feeling being proud to be a Bradfordian. Rung my lad, told him I loved him. God bless you all and those affected that day.
    Up the chickens.

Hard watch but important for us younger fans. Mrs Greenwood will stay with me forever. Don’t really have the words to do any of that justice.

Thought it was a very powerful, well made documentary, tears were rolling down my face by the end. It may be 40 years on,but it is still fresh in my memory.

As someone who was there i can recall the day vividly but it is heartwarming to see our younger fans fully understanding what happened and the impact. Thank you.

The personal interviews were harrowing & important.
I personally felt they used far too much graphic footage.
It took the focus away from what matters.
For that, to me it was far from "respectful" especially when broadcast on given date.
