Yeah am sure Mr Rupp is itching to put his hand in his pocket and increase the value of Mr Gibbs investment
All pie in the sky of course but any "spare" cash/investment needs to be spent on team strengthening or our stay in L1 should we get there will be very short lived

This season , it’s sadly true. Even their some on their own site / forum call it the White Elephant. It is a bit of a waste .

 

The attendances over the last few weeks have astounded me coming after how we are stumbling over the line following 5 poor years it’s great and whilst ground extension is just a pipe dream if we at some future point reached the championship we would be selling out every week

 

Do you still believe in the tooth fairy as well
Hopefully come 5.00pm on Saturday his accountants will be working out how much more he should be asking for the club in L1

 

I think you only consider this if you are in Newcastle/Leeds’ shoes etc - with a huge waiting list for STs and sell outs most weeks.

our good run this year has boosted attendances but even if we owned the ground, i think we’d have other priorities with the cash.

how much would we need to spend on buying properties behind the Bradford end (and that’s if they were willing to sell!).

I doubt he’d be asking for more ,rather it significantly adds to the attractiveness of the “ buy”?

 

I agree it's a flawed argument IMO, Rupp most likely either wants rid or wants it not to cost him any money if he's to stay. To be competitive in the league above he would likely need to inject some capital, I don't think there's a club that breaks even in league 1. All promotion does is make us a more attractive proposition. I doubt he'd want more money.

 

I can’t believe people are actually talking about this when we don’t even own anything at BD8.

 

I think our focus should be on investing in the team, training facilities and improving the current very poor facilities in the ground.
I also understand that Valley Parade needs over £1m spent on it soon for essential maintenance
