The top 3 get promoted on merit and that’s all that matters.
I frankly couldn’t give a flying fu@k how shit Walsall or any other team have been.

The final table is all that matters and it’s also all that will be remembered.

 

Yes mate I was so confident of getting a result at Doncaster today even after the first 45 minutes we were so poor we could only improve then Baldwin does what he did, are these guys brain dead.
Just looking again we don't even need to win just don't lose surely we cant blow that chance......................can we.

 

Not quite - if we want it entirely in our hands we have to beat Fleetwood.

If we draw, a Walsall win at Crewe gets them 3rd. Lose - and Walsall only need to draw to pip us on GD.

Can’t be bothered going back to find my post of earlier, but I’m glad to say that I was so wrong in doubting Walsall’s ability to be worse than us.

 

A draw is no good if Walsall win Dave.

 

We still need Crewe to beat Walsall though because we'll be busy scraping a draw against Captain Pugwash and the mighty Fleetwood.

 

You weren't alone mate I'd have thought Walsall would have won this easy, thinking about my poor predictions I'd better get my bet with @Rogered Tart payed Sparky's boys run out of games.

Absolutely not defending Baldwin today it was rank stupidity but overall Baldwin has been very good which made it more disappointing than ever for me with his actions.

 

Well we now have there another game to achieve promotion. We can thank Accrington for their discipline and ability to hold a lead. GA needs to get a grip of that dressing room. They actually played well in the second half. I am not suggesting we play with 10 men, but both matches recently we have performed better and scored goals. If that is not a clear message to GA then I don’t know what is. Today we played 441 and the lads did well. It did leave us exposed hence their 2nd goal. All I am saying is if we are up against it switch it.

 

Difficult when you've just been exiled to the stand for a two match ban due to...dissent.

 

Nothing less than a win next week. Surely we've been given enough favours and it's time to step up and do what's needed ourselves
