Very preoccupied with City and not in a good way. I keep thinking of previous let downs and if we don’t make it this will be right up there.

I thought we were excellent for a hour at Chesterfield. Take that to Donny and obviously defend better, we've got this.

Could do with Molyneux coming down with an illness though, he has been on fantastic form lately. However, nobody else to fear in the Donny side

 

The foul mood, I imagine (as is the case for me, anyway), is seeing us almost deliberately throw away repeated, strong positions to get promotion in the bag. Swindon and Chesterfield will stay with me a long time if we f**k this up - which I'm convinced we will. We're getting nothing at Donny, so we'll go into the last game of the season needing to rely on others. Its a clusterf**k from the opportunity we had.

 

Optimism is in short supply. Please keep reassuring us though Idle. They have just lost one of their full backs Jack Senior is out due to ham string rupture.

I just trust and hope that GA and the players havent thrown in the towel like a lot of fans appear to have done so.

 

I wont be going doom and gloom until 5pm Saturday at the earliest. I think we have all the tools to go to Donny and win. They have a terrible record against teams in the top 10 at home this season and there's no bigger pressure at your own place than trying to deliver a promotion on home soil against another challenge.

Even if we come away with a point, it means it will certainly go to the final day and at home against a done for the year Fleetwood side. If as I believe Accy get a result against Walsall too, we will be in a great shape for the week after. Lets not forget, we could actually get promoted on Saturday if we win and Walsall lose.

 

I’ve been the same and then my wife’s mammogram came back all clear today which is great and you realise there’s much more important things to be happy about! It’s just a game of kick and rush at the end of the day if it’s not to be, move on health is much more important.

They must be gutted, but they've a huge opportunity to put things right. And they clearly care.

Two games to go and promotion is in our hands. Huge amount riding on the game for Doncaster as well.

It's going to be nerve-wracking!

 

Like many of you, I’ve been equally as frustrated by some recent games and results. However without sounding cliché, I’d much rather be in this position than where we’ve found ourselves in recent seasons. There’s a lot to play for, whether it’s the next 2 games or more. Always better to have a name in the hat rather than watching on from the side.

We’ve had some brilliant performances this season, including the first 60mins last week. Hit those levels and we give ourselves a good chance. Keep believing….

 

Every silver lining has a cloud!

 

The injury time equalizer from Chesterfield was the hardest to take goal I can remember for a long time. If we had held on we would have had one foot in league one. Hope the players feel better than I do.

 

He wasn’t very good against Salford a few days ago . He’s a tad predictable slightly playing on the right side of the pitch cutting in on to his left foot ….

 

He has had a hand in 31 goals for them this season either by scoring or assisting, that's a phenomenal record for a winget
