I'll give you credit, you've championed Vale for some time. Watched them the last few games and they are the form side in the division at the right time for them. Go back half a dozen games and I've had said we were champions elect but not now with Vale in this form.

Assuming Barrow hold on v Walsall, it's just about in our hands still.

I think home form, assuming that maintains, will just about carry us through. Two wins from the home games and I think we're there. But we really don't have any wiggle room left now. And if we do make it we've limped over the line after looking like we were going to romp home a month ago.

I know you’re right, but we were in control and through our own making, gave the game away.

At Vale we set up completely wrong. Whether a different set up would have changed the result, we’ll never know, however another example where we got it wrong.

 

Weve gotten away with it. Like I said a few weeks ago, promotion will be down to the shite around us not winning games rather than us forcing the issue.

 

Multiple calls on their forum to sack their manager now. Hope they don’t. Their form since we pasted them in January is relegation stuff.

 

So amazingly Vale are the only winners in the Top 7.

Plus that Colchester win, keeps them and just as importantly Salford still in the race - both have to play Doncaster.

Crackers division. But more importantly, we live to fight another day.

Mansfield fans are not celebrating how great they played last season - just praying for the season to end with them still in L1.

That just shows how much strident fans lack persepctive. At the start of the season, if you'd told them they'd have a chance of automatic promotion with four matches left they wouldn't have believed you.

In fairness them, Colchester and Grimsby have all far exceeded expectations.

 

We need Salford to beat Donny Tuesday or at least take a PT.
