    Looking further ahead a draw might be best between Grimsby and Notts tonight. Then we want George Miller to do us another favour. More excited about the thought of Bromley beating Walsall Thursday to give us another crack at top spot

    Any of those outcomes would be good but even if the worst happens and Wimbledon, Vale and Notts all win, we'll still be 4 points clear of 4th.

    Now don't be greedy Dave.
    Any one of those chasing 3 slipping up would be great.
    No way are we that lucky that they all lose.
    Port vale and Notts look tricky , Cheltenham will have to improve vastly to take anything away from the wombles.

    I’ve been watching the Vale game. Being played on a ploughed field. They’ve had some half chances but are trying to play too neatly on a surface that doesn’t warrant it. Colchester keeper not had serious save to make.

    Colchester have mixed it up a lot better and the lad who scored, Tovide, is a unit who’s strong and quick, took the goal really well - was out of nothing, beat the centre back for pace out wide then brought it in and finished well. They’ve looked to hit him early a few times. We’ll need to pay him close attention at VP, along with their left winger who’s looked dangerous at times.

    Not really a promotion issue at all, but Accrington are thrashing Newport 5-0. Can't remember when Accrington have ever scored 5 goals. Hopefully they will be comfortably safe when we play them
