it's rare in recent years I've watched a neutral game and thought they are making us look like Real Madrid, but these two are definitely making me feel good about things. They're awful.

I agree - I’ve just watched it too and it was one of the worst games I’ve ever seen. When either team comes up against a team of better quality there’s no way they’re winning based on that performance.

 

The lower placed teams have a few interesting fixtures coming up, they could do us some favours.
Lets hope they continue fighting for their survival.

 

Based on what I saw there's no chance, or maybe it's just that watching us over the last 2 months makes your realise how well drilled we are. Both teams on show last night couldn't string 2 passes together and the ball was in the air more times than not. Saying that the pitch was terrible. I think Tranmere are in real trouble and probably Carlisle will follow. On a side note, seeing Hughes and Hodges on the side made me thankful Sparks pulled the plug. No passion whatsoever compared to Alexander and his team.

I watched Adams’s latest pre match interview last night.

I nearly fell off my chair when he repeated ( From memory) , “ There’s nobody better than me”.

Not as much as before, but uninspiring. You can tell they’re doing just to get out of the house and that they’ve no real interest in being there (at least that was my perception). They’re doing the owners a favour and in a no lose situation. If this is the only job they can get I don’t see them being in football much longer.

 

This is 100% Leslies last job in football. His interviews, it's already coming across like he's half arsed if they stay up or not.

 

I think that's just Hughes demeanour. I watched a programme on BBC Wales about him the other night and his career as a player and he came across as a decent fella but quite within himself. Not the sort of bloke to go round fistpumping and backslapping.

 

I saw that too. He actually said he is an introvert. His persona on the pitch was completely different to his manner off it.

 

I think his player and manager persona are different. As a player very up and at them but more studious as a manager. One thing I took from the show was how he never forgot his roots.
