Cannot see us signing Mullin or Rhodes to be honest.

 

The 2 club rule is a FIFA rule so it only applies to professional league, currently the National League is deemed a semi-pro division even though all but 2 or 3 are full time so FIFA don't get involved with transfers. It is why the National League can still do month loans and they don't have transfer window, they can make transfers anytime up until the 3rd Thursday in March.

 

I'm sure I remember him playing against us for Stockport. His name sticks out.

What's Agard up to these days?

 

He did. He had 10 appearances for Stockport, 6 starts in all comps. He picked up a knee injury in pre-season then another injury in October. Came back in November and had a few apps in the cups but it was clear he wasn't going to be needed in L1 it seems.

 

Palaces reporter for The Standard has said that Adaramola is current travelling up for his medical. Probably one that will be announced late on.

 

Hopefully he passes with flying colours.

 

If this becomes true then it shows there is little faith in Wright as a LWB within the club ?

 

We may then see that proper forward we all crave , but he will cost money! No loanees please.

 

Would have thought so. I'd say it means Richards might be getting the shoulder surgery they were hoping to delay to the summer? Rather than hoping they can pop it back in and hope he lasts out the season. Certainly means they dont see Khela as LWB cover.

 

How his agent has managed to get two L1 clubs to sign him in the last 12 months is beyond me. The bloke should have negotiated the Brexit deal with those powers of persuasion.

 

I think it will be more about Richards and how long he is out with his shoulder injury then even if he comes back in a couple of weeks there's a risk of his shoulder popping out again at any moment.

 

New striker needed still for me, certainly with Oliver going. Kav, Mellon and Leigh (who isn't even a striker) isn't going to be enough. The inconsistency of youth would hit us at some point. One injury to Kav or Mellon and it really looks thin. We are in a great position, I really hope we get that extra body.

 

Once they start there is no stopping them.
@Rogered Tart may remember Northern invested massively in a world class Rugby union player whose shoulder kept popping out . They even pinned it and it still did it. I’m sure he had to retire in the end . Not as bad as Rugby League of course but it will weigh on his mind?

Would be completely negligent if we don't, especially when those around us are strengthening in that department. Notts have brought in Norwegian forward Mai Traore this morning.

 

They have many strikers and just paid £2m for a new one

 

He's in a position as well where he needs to use his arms every match for throw ins, when he came back he didn't take a throw in for a while as Kelly took them in our half. Being selfish I hope he doesn't have surgery just so we can get him back on the pitch sooner but I'd understand if the club felt surgery was the best to reduce the risk of it happening again.

It's really unfortunate for him just as he's getting his career going to get a freak injury like this that probably won't be a 1 off and could impact the rest of his career.
