More of the same. The fans will judge the additional players we get in during the January window. Our recruitment in the summer was not what the fans were expecting. At least he is not writing to us just as the ST go on sale. Maybe he has looked at the non attendance figures.

 

4th Anniversary of Sparks being announced as CEO, with many people not having a good word to say about that appointment and a complete clusterfuck of a communication regarding a levy on phone bookings and suddenly as if by magic a letter makes it's way from Rupp.

It seems to have all the hallmarks of the letter following discontent earlier in the year or am I being cynical?

Is this the way it's going to be, Sparks clings on to his job and any time someone fires any critism his way the owner will write a note like a parent to get this kid out of PE?

 

No mention of investment into the playing squad to push on up the league. At least we can collect our tickets without the rain coming in.

 

Yada yada yada, just another yawnfest.

And things are positively progressing regarding the ground purchase but in like, a general and non specific or definitive way?

Ok, then!!

 

I know you will be keen for an update on my intention to purchase the stadium. It remains my desire to have our football club own the ground again. I have had positive and constructive conversations on the matter, but, I am not quite where I would like us to be.

Basically saying it won't be happening. Likely offered a crap deal and was laughed at.

 

Stefan feels that mentioning "investing" in the roof of the club shop is worthy of mention, kinda shows where we're at with him properly investing in the club.

If he considers that to be such a big deal it's worth mentioning in a letter to supporters, we have no hope. That kinda minor stuff needs to be done as a minor expectation.
