Waiting until 80 mins in, at home, to start putting pressure on their box.

Obviously more defensive issues, a seemingly weekly occurring thing with our back 3, but I think GA got this one wrong today. Played to Doncasters strengths and waited far too long to get ourselves through the gears.

Again, not for me. I'd say they're good. They'll probably be top 3. We're average, and might sneak the top 7.

They nearly collapsed under some real pressure, better than us sure but if they’re as good as the division gets then we should be kicking ourselves for not improving there defence and a partner for Cook.

Richards showing why he should start over Wright. Great cross for the Cook goal, something which Wright could achieve despite numerous good crossing opportunities.

We started and finished the game well but lost our way in the middle 60 minutes, which wasn’t ideal. Doncaster looked decent and Molyneux looked a level up on everyone else on the pitch.

It’s been a decent run of form in recent weeks, so let’s hope we can bounce back quickly.

2 very poor goals to concede.
Hopeful punt from Sharp and 3 of them don’t get a foot in on molyneux. Benns inexperience cost us the second, he’s got to go down and stop them taking that goal kick, everyone could see he was knackered. GA got to look at himself with the wingbacks he chose today. Through illness and injury there’s nowhere near enough quality on the bench to change things today.

Really, Alexander has to take total responsibility for that team selection today why in the world did he bring Wright back in to the side and for me Smith offered nothing, yet when Kavanagh comes on he plays that great through ball for Richards to cross Cook scores and were back in the game, sorry @alex@alex Smith has shown nothing during his time at the club and once again did little during his time on the pitch, but it would be boring if we all agreed, I need to see the first goal again as from the Sunwin where I sit it looked a well worked goal yet some are blaming Walker.

Flowchart Colin and the 5 Subs has to be the most embarrassing 10 minutes I've ever seen.

Jay Benn was injured, he went down twice in that period, Donny had 3 opportunities, and Graham Alexander is stood like a garden gnome unable to decide how many players to bring on.

    Pathetic management.

If you bring in players that thoughout their careers have never shown they're good enough for the level we want to be at, don't then be shocked that we've conceded soft goals week on week.

Platt and Stubbs aren't world beaters but they were good enough and certainly levels above Byrne and Diabate.

Yeah. We're not a top three team but we do have a good run or two in us. We're a problem for most crap sides, but not the better ones.

Sometimes you have to hold your hands up and admit we were well beaten by a very good side on the day.

As expected Molyneaux best player I've seen in league 2 by far.

The chronic shortage of pace throughout the team badly exposed, as it was in the first half at Cheltenham.

What's happened to Sanderson, because Kavanagh, Smith and Oliver don't look remotely like scoring.

I wish I knew why GA persists with Wright over Richards. It was criminal dropping Richards after his very good performance at Cheltenham.

Smallwood man of the match for me

Agreed, that defeat fall firmly on the shoulders of the manager.
There was absolutely no need to change the starting line up from Tuesday.
Richards has been excellent in last 2 games and did more today in 10 mins than Wright has done all season.
I have no problem with Benn starting but I question why it’s needed when Halliday was excellent on Tuesday.
GA should hold his hands up and take the blame

We'll pay the price for going with quantity over quality.

Those goals were coming from 20 minutes into the game and the only tactical tweak made after surviving numerous chances against us was to swap Wallet and Pointon which then nullified the only threat we had in that first half.

Plans don't always work and GA obviously had his reasons but it just felt like we were waiting for Donny to score instead of being proactive and trying to wrestle back some control.

I’d give Smith another start. He’s not started many games and Kav has had enough chances that I think smith deserves another shot.

Harsh to blame Walker for the first goal. 2 CBs on Sharp and somehow a long punt up field isn’t dealt with by either of them and Sharp gets the ball down and lays it on a plate for Molyneux. Looks bad for Walker as it’s close to him but he hit it hard and from within the box. Tough one.

For myself , GA has to be accountable on this performance. Benn looked to be struggling in the first half and Halliday should have come on. Wright was absolutely dominated by Molyneux and just doesn't have the wing back qualities nor the want to put in some hard yards when tracking back. Why Richards was dropped is beyond me...

At half time we was so fortunate to be on level terms and it was crying out for proper support for Smallwood but no we wait till the 73rd ISH minute to introduce him .

Far too late for the 5 subs in a game Donny dominated, surely something GA could see and then has the 5 subs waiting for around 3 minutes to come on.

Donny were good but our tactics allowed Donny to look better than they probably are. Thought Molyneux was really good, so was Sharp who retains his vision and movement (and speed) but there no 21 was absolutely the stand out player.

As for the ref, what an absolute clown. Ridiculous bookings, spoilt the game bringing play to a halt on numerous occasions.
