I've been working, T & A live blog reads like we were well on top second half? not a bad point away to a team who were in division one last season in my opinion, hopefully we at the start of a nice little unbeaten run to try get into that top three

 

Folk going on about Cook needing a partner shouldnt all this have been done in the summer when we all knew this yet our recruitment side didnt some point Cook will have a lean spell and in all honesty whose gonna get the goals if he does ...............that shot from Kav summed him up i know it was offside but it was a terrible miss ...........maybe he needs a spell out of the team????..

Still i would have taken a point before kick off keeps the run going before the big huge massive game Saturday

 

Lads put in a good shift tonight. Pointon rattled bar and we had better of it second half. On another day we win that 2-1 or 3-1.

hard lines lads. Roll on Doncaster.

 

I don’t know , I’m looking for reasons why he didn’t give a pen, which to me, was nailed on.

 

Good game. We were decent second half and can imagine there will a bit of disappointment in the dressing room that we didn’t take all 3 points, but on the swing of it a draw was probably the fair result.

Pointon much better second half. Nice exchange with Kavanagh and was really unlucky hitting the bar, probably should have scored. He and Richards linked well throughout.

You have to wonder what Sanderson isn’t doing to not be getting a sniff at all? He looked a real threat at times in the early games.

 

Completely disagree with you here! He's been very good this season.

 

We had one in Young. That's the most frustrating part.

 

Thats spot on.

first half was bedlam. They could have had a pen for Shepherd handball. We nearly got one edge of box. Kav missed a sitter. They had one ruled out for offside. Thrilling half, but manic.

we bossed it second half but it just wouldnt go in. The effort was there from the lads.

 

Walker just oozes class Olly doesn’t he. Struts around the pitch making it look easy. So lucky to have him here. We must keep him fit to sustain our promotion push.

 

Agree. We gave it a good go in the second half and it finally looks like we can step up in the second half and give it a good go. We've done that a couple of times recently.

That said, giving away that easy shot which led to a goal was criminal really.

It feels like we are genuinely moving forward with Alexander though albeit we're still unconvincing in terms of creating chances.

 

Sanderson needs to find favour again as Cookie apart none of Kav or Tyler Smith or Oliver can locate the back of the net.

No complaints from me tonight, we gave it a good go and i don't ask for any more.

 

An enjoyable watch but that cameraman has given me eyestrain. The Cheltenham players were camouflaged against the red and white advertisement boards.

 

Really enjoyed that performance - every player battled and gave 100% - after seeing some of the “efforts” in previous seasons that’s great to see and bodes well IMO. We take the point and move on.

 

Our defence coped well with a team playing at 100 miles an hour (first half anyway).
Just a bit of luck would have seen us win that but like others have said compared to Grimsby and Harrogate that was more like what is required.

 

Enjoyable game and a cracking arena. In the away end I feel Walker was at fault but hard to say from my perspective.

Check had a great game winning nigh each header and harshly booked for demanding the ball back.

Good commitment and a controlled performance. With a decimated squad, really confident for the season.

Agree the oen should have been given. Poor decision

 

Thought the ref did well (except for the pen). Better side just missing that quality around the box. I assume the illness must be running through the squad with GA only making the one change. It’ll be tough game on Saturday and the lads have put a right shift in. Plenty of r and r this week.
