We need to ship out Oliver and Smith/Kavanagh, and bring in a quality partner for Cook in January.

Diabate up to 3 yellow cards now so not quite last chance for him. A needless yellow card really, I know he was getting frustrated but once you push the opponent you are always going to get a yellow card. Easier said that done but once you've tried to grab the ball a couple of times just leave it and let their player get a yellow, instead their player goaded Diabate into getting one.

 

Feels like we've been knocking all second half and created a few chances but nothing really clear cut.

 

Fair result. They had the first half, we had the second. Not enough goal threat outside of Cook and Set Pieces. Kavanagh offers zero.

 

Can't fault the effort. Think we shaded it overall, but didn't create enough chances. Good game though.

 

Terrific second half , however for once I question GA subbing…..Bringing off Kav who was innocuous to bring on Smith……….Really?. That makes it worse!

 

Very enjoyable match that. I think we could have played two hours and not scored. Credit to their defence. Ours held their own too. Richards, Walker and Pointon (second half) had good games. Cook needs someone to help him out.

 

Not a bad point away from home after Saturday, we were the better side but didn't create enough clear cut opportunities and a poor effort by Walker for their goal. On to Donny now, looking forward to it.

 

I'd have probably taken a point, can't help but think we let games drift a bit. Second game on the trot where we haven't really created a clear chance for either striker

 

We'll play worse than that this season and win. Could have been 3 points but a point not the end of the world. One of the more entertaining games this season.

 

More controlled 2nd half performance. Point a piece seems fair.

Not a bad point will all circumstances considered being a long trip on a Tuesday night after a tough game on Saturday and all of the injuries/illness.

Sets up a big game on Saturday.

 

I don't rate Smith either, but he's marginally more likely to score than Kavanagh. Really though, we need to cash both in and get one, higher quality alternative.

 

Decent performance and entertaining game to watch.

Defence played really well again tonight. Smallwood pick of the midfield for me.
But boy oh boy we need a striker to partner Cooky. I make that 3 of our 5 strikers have yet to score for us this season so far, which is shocking really.

Byrne continues to really impress and hopefully a lot of the fans concerns about our defensive recruits can be put to bed now.
