In answer to your question, NO I do not think we have a strong squad. We have an imbalanced squad that will rely on Cook (again) and Sam Walker.

 

Oliver had two successful seasons with a league one sides along with 20 MOM performances and they were the two seasons before we signed them. I have never claimed anything about his time here it has been a failure. Just as Youngs time here has been a big failure on his part

 

As has Sparks...a big failure and in your ignorance and silence I will assume you agree.

 

We are a bad Sam Walker or Andy Cook injury away from a 6th year of failure.

We have Cook who is always among the top scorers in league two we have our strongest midfield we have had for years so much so that we have been able to change them with no drop in quality. I did have a few worries about defence but the early signs are promising and with the latest centre half loan signings it further strengthens it so along with Halliday probably the best right wing back in the league and Wright who is getting better and better in the left wing back position. Plus Walker who is very sound in goal. So yes we have a strong squad acknowledged by opponents manager

 

And Jake Young has 1 more League Title than Rupp and Sparks combined.

 

I'd add Smallwood.
