Why would he do that
The window is nearly closed and according to some he's desperate to leave
Would have taken the deal and moved on if that's the case
Ever considered the club although they say they have accepted the bid are leaving completion till the last minute in case anything better comes along

I don't think you understand how football transfers work. Young doesn't have to go anywhere, he can sit on his arse and pick up a wage at Valley Parade if he chooses. When the club wants rid, as a player you have the luxury of picking where you want to go for the sake of your own career.

People seem to be looking to apportion blame in Youngs direction but the lad has done nothing wrong. His agent will be looking to get the best deal that's suits his client as it's clear the club wants to move him on.

 

Far more likely he is hanging on for something better his agent is probably telling him to wait until the last minute so City will have to let him go cheap.
