Wide of the mark like your Max power suggestion. How stewards are privy to the ins and out is beyond me, especially when I dont think the ones charge know.

 

I can’t wait for the season to start so we can started talking / debating / arguing about football. This forum and thread is getting very tedious as the close season rumbles on.

 

I personally find MacAnthony’s comments refreshing. Not enough honesty in the game anymore and if he feels Bradford were trying to take the pi55 then he’s well within his rights to say so. I am surprised he said it publicly though considering I thought him and Ryan had a good relationship?

What bothers me most is are we that short of ideas that we are once again going in for ex-players and why are we lowballing? If we want the player then make a sensible offer? Its clear Posh were taken back by how poor it was.

I find it very frustrating that we have Sparks, Sharpe Gent and Alexander and yet 2 weeks before the season starts we appear to be out of ideas. Can we seriously not think any further out of the box than Romoney Crichlow.

 

I was told by a sponsor, who is also a very good pal of Sparks (he went on his stag do) that it was all down to Sparks trying to sign Wyke in January, the deal was pretty much ready to go, and Alexander told him he didn't want or need him as he had Cook.

 

Of course you don't like the criticism of the club, you're pretty much the only fully signed up member of the parkbantam fan club.

The above is a post (in January btw, so not just a month after signing him) of you suggesting me not rating Ash Taylor was "bizarre" and even stranger, suggesting we should swap Andy Cook for Ollie Palmer who was about a 1 in 4 man at this level previously.

I'm sorry, but with opinions like that it's very difficult to take you seriously.

 

It's been 221 pages since we signed Aden Baldwin, nearly 9 weeks worth of chat, and all that's really come out in that time was bringing Tyreik Wright back. There's probably only been about 2 or 3 pages worth of actual rumours in all those. Pretty safe to say that everyone has had enough and just wants some football back!

Well, the window shuts in a month. Given we have sod all to go from at the minute and that loanee who might join before Austria has gone completely silent, I thought I'd have a look over all our final months of the windows since our relegation to L2....

WOW! We've signed some absolute guff!!! Banks and Wright maybe the only hits? Maybe too early to tell with Richards but hit and miss so far. Cooke on his loan spell wasn't too bad I suppose? But lots of naff!

Power plays in Saudi, captain of the team promoted to the top league, and was training and looking forward to the new season when you posted. The thought of him even contemplating a move to L2 doesnt seem believable.....assuming you were referring to him.

 

Tax free dollar and free accommodation on Saudi or Tuesday night, wind and rain in league two. No competition

 

And next season up against Ronaldo, Kante, Benzema et al.....or Bromley, Crewe and Fleetwood.

And probably on £10-£15k a week.....
