TBF Dave, most of the owners over that time didn’t have pockets of cash and certainly made it clear they wouldn’t be spending it. Rupp is not the same, hence the disenchantment against him.

When Rahic got us relegated despite overspending, Rupp promised to fix things. And now, after years of “middling”, he’s promised to give us a budget to make promotion a realistic target.

Yet again, fans haven’t seen those promises being delivered. The likes of a Hegginbottom, Simpson, Tordoff etc didn’t promise, so expectations were always lowered

 

I’m surprised the club hasn’t updated supporters or Parker isn’t quizzing the club about the lack of recruitment to date considering GA and Sharpe mentioned bringing in at least another one. I understand we need some out but kick off is 2 weeks away and as someone mentioned earlier, they may be a few weeks behind the lads.

 

Not sure how long you've been a Bradford City fan my friend but I can assure you when I and many others started watching Bradford City we didn't even know the name of the owner and to be perfectly honest we couldn't care less, it was an escape from normal life coming down to valley parade to let off steam, we watched our team because it was just that our team, as you will know once any football team gets into your life its very difficult to walk away, as we say Claret & Amber in your blood.
I can assure you Rupp has little/no credibility as far as I'm concerned, to do what he's done to our football club is a delegation of responsibility to allow a stranger to run Bradford City without due diligence is IMO criminal, which surprises me that no charges were brought when Rahic was show the door.

Crichlow was made available weeks ago. Posh fans think he is rubbish. Some say their worst CB in modern times.

He has been an absolute car wreck for them. And continued into pre season.

Didn't do too well his first time in L1 either did he from memory? When he was released by Huddersfield, didn't he say something like he doesn't see himself playing L2 football again?.... aged well.

 

Could be another one season wonder. Not sure he's an Alexander type of central defender
