We never replaced him that season and he proved to be a massive loss.
He was a little disappointing in his 2nd loan spell, but suspect his confidence had taken a big knock due to lack of game time.
He's got talent for this level so happy with this signing!

 

Happy with this. Definite talent at this level, especially shown in the first loan. Relatively versatile, got pace.

Still a good age at 22yrs, time to continue his development.

From when we know of him, if he signed for someone else in our division many of us would be disgruntled and believe it will we had missed out.

I rated him as a winger in Hughes' system but last season as a wingback he looked below average for the most part.

 

We never replaced him the first time he was on loan with us.
Since then online articles would suggest he's not had the best of times after leaving his parent club Aston Villa to join Plymouth Argyle.
He's only 22 and his football education this far will have given him an insight of the good and bad sides of the game.
Sometimes things don't work out for many reasons but hopefully now he will feel settled and produce some great performances for the Bantams.
Plenty of years left to make a name for himself I wish him well.

As it should be Dave until were well into the new season, but it wont stop some saying poor signing time will tell there no going back now.

 

Well he hints at it in his interview and GA doesn’t play with wingers. Plus we have loads of forward options.

I genuinely hope he does well but I thought he looked disinterested a lot of the time last season. I would class this as another lazy signing but hopefully GA knows better than me

 

Yes. So he was the source of width on the left hand side. You know this. You know how high our wing backs play and are expected to play so there's no need to be cute.

 

He didn't play a big part. He played no part. No goals, no assists, no shots, one chance created.

 

It's his attitude that worries me never really seems to put everything in , hope I'm wrong and he just needs to be fully fit and a run of games might change that

I hope we get the Wright of his first spell at VP.
He looked unfit last season and it was only towards the end of the season where he started to make a positive impression.
With GAs focus on improving the fitness of the team, I think he'll be in a better shape in August.

 

We are just going to hope to outscore teams next season aren’t we? Defence looks average but we look very good going forward.
