We play like that with Cook on the pitch and we can make play offs imo

 

Football can be very cruel and that had nil one written all over it.

A fantastic performance tonight that can give us a real chance of sneaking into the playoffs if we take that form into the league.

 

Hard luck lads, played brilliantly, hope not too many injuries,
A joy to watch, keep it up in the league, no one to blame for tonight, a great watch overall ...

 

Added to which, I'm sure one of our efforts was over the line and we should have had a pen. Not that I blame the officials, our luck was just out.

Double down City, step up and meet that standard consistently.

 

Smith struggled to hit a barn door but Stubbs makes one mistake (Butcher was unmarked well before Stubbs loses the ball) and gets all the blame seems a bit unfair.

 

If that performance is the benchmark for the rest of the season, we're in for a very interesting run in.
We won't come up against a 'keeper as "on form" as theirs was tonight. I reckon he made 4 or 5 top class saves and kept them in the game.

 

Someone call the police there's been a robbery in BD8. Football the only sport in the world that can kick you in the balls like that. 99/100 we win any game with that performance. Galling that we've played far far worse than that this season and come away with a win, but I guess that's football.
Feel so sorry for the lads, they really didn't deserve to lose that.

 

Oliver was useless. Cook or Young available and we win.

Daylight robbery! I thought we were excellent tonight and if we can keep that level of performance until the end of the season, we'll be in the shake up at the end.

All i can say is the standard has been raised now ..........play like that for the rest of the season and we wont be far off.

 

Brilliant performance in general but you can't miss so many opportunities- although credit must be afforded to their keeper who definitely earned his wage tonight.

A cruel game at times, but one to hopefully fuel a charge up the league and finish the season in style.

 

They don’t penalise pushing , holding, shirt pulling or fouls at corners except on imaginary ones on the keeper any more.

We were awesome tonight! Really enjoyed that. Never left a match feeling so hard done by.

 

When their keeper gets MOTM you know you have done most things right.

What a match. Our team were brilliant never stopped. We played some classy football. Their goalie deserves mom he stopped everything.

Now then city pick yourself up and scrape the mud off, play like that and you win more matches than you lose. Hope they are all alright for Saturday.

I’d hope Graham just lets them sit and stew in the dressing room for a bit before speaking. Let the players realise why they’re down because they were superb and then build them back up from that
