I think there was little point mate Hughes made it perfectly clear with regards the Jake Young situation, many hoped he would get a clean sheet this season but once aging Hughes tried to belittle the kid by saying he was surprised he'd not taken the offers from two none league teams, this is the same manager who signed a back up left full back/wing back cover for Ridehalgh then hung Foulds out to dry by saying he was disappointed he didn't stay and fight for his place.

Jake himself has described how what happened made him feel. He was 21 years years old, 3 months into a 4 year contract at a club he wanted to be at and he was told his future lay elsewhere. I don't know what went on other than the rumour he told Hughes he didn't know what he was doing but whatever it actually was, nobody will ever convince me the way he was treated was proportionate to what he'd done.

I had a smile on my face when I read Carlisle had paid a fee for a Bradford City player, I never knock clubs for what they have achieved and good luck to Carlisle but when the likes of Carlisle, Barrow, Workington start paying good money for Bradford City players I despair , it takes a while to sink in I'm not having a pop @Bluebry, good luck to them I hope with their new found wealth they stay up, we can use then as an example of just what can be achieved given the will.
