I think slightly more than that, but not much more than £150,000 - and that's with Swansea City sniffing around.

 

I would not pay that for him, striker/ winger 13 goals in 65 games for Newport. Maybe a few add on clauses.
Played most of his games for Cardiff metropolitan university. Not sure what level they are.

 

It is going to take at least 2 windows to correct the poor signings of Mark Hughs and for GA to start building his own team

 

Personally i do not think we need too much tweeking.
One or two additions and send back all the loan player's , re call our loan players and shift Derbyshire, Mcdonald and Osadibe , easier said than done and we will be ok.
It was not the player so much as how the manager decided to use them.

 

I don't really think there's too much rebuilding to carry out, there's certainly parts of the team to strengthen and provide cover for.
However we've the likes of Chapman, Pattison, Young, Smith, East, Richards, Halliday, Cook, Walker all showing they've the potential and ability we require.

 

I would add Wilson, Pointon and probably Gillead for his outstanding work rate to that list. Lewis if he gets his head out of his a##e as well.

I think of the two I'd prefer Critchlow, but getting both on loan till the end of the season would be great,

 

Wright has been made available for a move, although I cant see us bringing another winger in if we are going to stick with this 352 and with us already having a fair amount of wingers? Interesting to see what happens with Critchlow. Doesn't appear to be liked in Peterborough. Started the season but after some iffy performances he was dropped to the bench in mid September and hasn't come back in yet. But Edwards is expected to move on in Jan from Posh, so he might well be needed once he goes.

 

Crich was subject to abuse here wasn’t he. Can’t remember the ins and outs, but he might not be rushing to come back, even if he’s been frozen out at Peterborough.

i’d love to have him back if JT isn’t deemed good enough.

 

Critchlow not a good signing for us, Not strong enough and makes mistakes, we can and should do better

 

It's not a popular view, Trevor, but I agree. You could add poor in the air as well. He's a nice lad but I could never really understand all the praise that came his way and it seems he's been quickly found out a higher level.

 

I would personally have him back in a heartbeat.

I think he would slot in very well on the left side of our 3 currently deployed at the back.

He would certainly add some pace to our defence for sure

 

Pace and skill but not strength or composure. That's the problem.

 

I'm currently watching Taylor though and Critchlow seems like Franco Baresi in comparison!

 

So why the hell are you using it to suit your argument? Utterly pointless. Just because there are 2 reported fees doesnt mean they are the only fees.
