I think McDonald better worry about his playing career if the last few games he’s played in is anything to go by if we get a new manager.

 

If Sparks brings in someone who is not a natural successor to possession-based 4-2-3-1, we might as well be a factory owner that decided he wanted to manufacture toys, but on a whim suddenly deciding he's going to make curtains instead.

That's about as much sense as Sparks' previous appointments have made flip-flopping from one extreme to the other and praying for it to magically work somehow, but yeah, we still refuse to consider how detrimental it is not having a footballing identity.

MK Dons sacked Graham Alexander because he wasn't a fit for their DNA. They brought in someone that was, and look how easily the players picked it up. That's because they know what they're supposed to be doing and all their players have been signed for having quick passing and the ability to maintain possession.
