    Surely whoever it is can not play for his current club this weekend if it is going to go through.

    That should reduce the options once the weekend is over

    I can only presumed the transfer failed ... I doubt city would announce a failed signing

    I haven't seen any " where still waiting for news " posts in the last 24hrs

    If we don't get an announcement ahead of kick off today, can you imagine how many names are going to be put forward as the potential mystery player after everyone starts checking to see what names are missing from match day squads across the football pyramid :joy:

    Apparently, Jamie Raynor said on Radio Leeds yesterday evening that City were still waiting to hear back from the EFL.

    Guessing it's dead in the water , it's gone on too long now , frustrating I know, but imagine the uproar if it was it was a top profile side in prem you would never hear the end of it and the unfairness of it all

    I feel sorry for the lad whoever he is.

    Clearly wouldn't be able to play for whichever club he's registered at today and doesn't know if he can move to us. If it's not a localish deal then he's also up in the air around moving or not and impact on his family.

    It is really unfair by the EFL to have rules that allow a situation like this to develop.

    Problem is we are waiting for the EFL to respond, but our fax was sent to EDF by mistake and they are currently working on increasing our gas bill to the £2,400 a week that the fax states was the players wage.
