The only possible reason for such strong-arm action is if someone were leaking contract details or release clause details. In the name of competitive confidentiality, I could perhaps see it.

It's still far too strong for my taste, though.

How about treat people right in the first place?

 

The leaks could be having a commercial impact on the club so it’s understandable they want to keep a lid on things.

 

If people were leaking information from my company to cause me trouble or harm I would be furious. I would want to know and kick them out. Can’t help thinking in this case it’s because of how it’s being run that people feel the need to draw attention to it similar to how whistleblowing is practised. It’s a football club, it’s not like any other business. Like Trump it must be difficult for Edin to manage in a democracy. ‘Why won’t everybody just get behind me? What’s wrong with these people??’

I can’t believe there can be a City fan happy with the way this club is being run. It’s a shambles.

 

I've never known such a level of "He-said She-said" bullshit. If you cant control your company from the top down, you're not doing things correctly.

If Edin wanted autocracy, he should have implemented it from day one and made it clear that's how thing were going to be. Now 2 years down the line I'm reading about internal investigations and leaky washing machine men.

One can only imagine the raging dumpster fire this place would have been in the 60's......sometimes i think the internet is the root of all evil....too much talking and info....just watch the games...1 team is gonna win the league a couple more go up 3 go down....most years you are an also ran.....not going up or down......what happened to just watching and rooting...honest to hell its gotten personal...we even moan about the groundskeepers...ffs 25 years ago even premier league grounds looked like mud patches with green paint....cant wait for the financial bubble to burst and bring it back where it was....it will happen......not if.....but when.

 

When I first looked at this thread, I thought it would be about players leaving!

I have now read all of it!! I honestly can’t believe that Edin and Stefan would waste time and money on finding ppl who work for the club who maybe leaking information. Furthermore that the Police may become involved. Firstly they have reduced the amount of ppl working at City, so there can’t be many left. Plus the majority of so called leaks are about footballers coming and going, and more recently have been completely wrong! So hardly damaging to the club! I strongly suspect this is about open criticism on social media, about the way the club is being run, yes some of it maybe inaccurate but there is a theme.

My advice to the club is focus on the job at hand. We need a fully fit 1st team who can deliver success on the pitch, that is what we were promised by the end of this coming season. TBH, I fail to see how this latest rumour IF true enhances our club’s reputation.
