Who do I see about refunding my flights and accommodation?

 

Strange one that they have had all season to sort the playing surface out and no problems watering the pitch and it's called off, are well just the two World cup games then.

 

As Wilshere signed yet a great signing if they can keep him fit

 

Nothing like that up here in fact Yorkshire Water said the other day if it continues like it is doing we wont have a problem with our water supply around here.

I was at Farsley Celtic this evening, they were watering the pitch. Unfortunately large parts of the pitch still resembled the Sahara desert. The weather has not been kind to part time groundsmen

 

Fair comment I was not having a pop at the groundsman but just thought a reseed and the great weather with a regular watering the pitch would have been in good nick, one question if it's been like this for a while why has it taken so long to be called off ?.

 

I imagine the simple reason is that they really didn't want to call this match off. It is one of the biggest pay days of the year for Farsley.

 

Yes I can understand that especially if fans would be allowed into the club house after the game for a few beers and chance to watch the England game.

 

Feel for them, this money would have gone along way to their running costs for the year, hopefully we'll go back next year.

 

I'm on spring water, mate. Never runs out and no water rates to pay!

The times I've been to the market they are there in their Burberry Prorsum Waxed Cotton Field Jacket acting like the lord and lady of the manor, it impressed the hell out of me, but you living out that way I'll bow to your superior knowledge of the locals .

Dave, it looks like Bradford and Norfolk last had rain weeks ago. ? My lawn is yellow and it is seriously has hard as concrete. The local playing field is the same, even though it’s surrounded by trees.
