    One of the best left backs we have ever had IMO.

    Always at least a 7/10 steady eddy player.

    Loved his insight on Radio Leeds as well-much more measured than a certain you know who.

    Fantastic servant for the club he is a rare breed, much more than a steady eddy just consistently very good - 45 premier league appearances!

    I always thought it was amazing that every time we went up we tried to get someone in to replace him but he always proved himself better and kept/regained his place in the team

    Interesting article. I think they both have some connection with the church. We all know about Jacobs being a born again Christian. They’ve kept in touch through their mutual religious interests.
