Adams Getting Names Wrong

    Has anyone noticed Adams is getting the names of his own players wrong in interviews?

    Gillead was called “Gillihead”, Vernam was “Vernon”, and Ridehalgh is actually pronounced ‘Ride-holj’, not “Ride-halg”.

    Does it matter?

    There’s been some strange ones over the years. Wouldn’t you think he’d know the names of his own players? Especially as he’s touted as a manager who plans with minute detail.

    Not sure whether you're aware of this or not but Derek Adams is Scottish. He has a Scottish accent. It makes some of the things he says sound slightly different to how they sound when you say them. It doesn't mean he is getting them wrong.

    Jesus Christ are you serious? I obviously know where he’s from!!!!! His accent is nothing to do with getting the names wrong.

    I’m not making a big deal of it, just thought I’d mention it.

    on a slightly different note I did notice DA at end of game walking around the pitch shaking all players hands etc. but he walked straight past Evans.
